KHS&S completed multiple scopes of work for this 14-story, 697,000-square-foot addition to University Health’s flagship hospital in San Antonio, TX.
The first hospital in South Texas dedicated to the unique needs of women, newborns and kids, the state-of-the-art medical facility includes a 300-bed hospital, a Level IV NICU, a Level IV Maternal Center, a dedicated children’s emergency department, a SaludArte: Art of Healing Program, and a 400,000-square-foot, 900-space parking garage.
As a signature feature, KHS&S installed laminate metal ceiling systems throughout the facility, creating a modern look and feel for this advanced facility.
