This retro-themed hotel evokes the classic feel of an iconic beach resort from the 1950s and 60s with stunning architecture and bold colors to transport guests to a bygone era.

Coordination is key to the success of building two 11-story hotel towers next to a waterpark also under construction. Although the waterpark is managed by a different general contractor, the projects share water and underground utilities, which requires continuous collaboration to efficiently manage these resources.

The hotel towers overlook the waterpark adding 400 rooms to the original 1,800. Interior services by KHS&S include metal framing, drywall and finishing and acoustical ceiling tiles. Exterior services include framing, sheathing, EIFS and stucco. The unique elliptical shape of the identical towers requires a majority of the framing to be at a curve – going slightly out of shape.
