Overview

This 41-story luxury high-rise in the Dallas Arts District is the tallest rental tower in the Dallas area. The mixed-use development includes more than 26,000 square feet of amenity space and 15,000 square feet of retail.  The building is comprised of 364 one to three-bedroom residences.

The Arts District is a highly desirable urban neighborhood, and Atelier, with its modern architecture, was designed to integrate into the contemporary artistic community. Located on one of the largest remaining parcels of undeveloped land, construction started in the summer of 2018.

While safety is always a priority on job sites, the high-rise provided some particularly lofty challenges.

Before crews set foot on the site, procedures and training were developed so each individual was given the tools and knowledge to remain safe while working on the towering project. Exterior mast climbers allowed workers to reach heights up to 360 feet, with up to six people working side-by-side on the 7 foot wide by 30 foot long platforms.  Up to 17 mast climbers could be in operation during a single day.

Completion was in summer 2021.
