SkyCenter One Achieves LEED Platinum Certification
KHS&S project SkyCenter One has achieved LEED Platinum certification, becoming Tampa’s first LEED-certified new construction project at the platinum level, the highest level available.
The 275,000-square-foot building achieved LEED certification for implementing practical and measurable solutions in areas including sustainable site development, water savings, energy efficiency, materials selection and indoor environmental quality.
KHS&S was responsible for multiple scopes on the project, including wall layout, metal framing, insulation, drywall hanging and finishing, exterior framing, exterior sheathing and the project’s exterior rooftop parapet.
